Labour Chowk ("Platform", "हम", "हमारा") एक online marketplace है जो daily wage workers, contractors, sardars (gang leaders), और retail customers को connect करता है। Labour Chowk एक employer नहीं है — यह एक technology platform है जो independent parties को connect करता है। Labour Chowk is a technology marketplace that connects daily wage workers with contractors, sardars, and retail customers in Delhi NCR. We are not an employer, staffing agency, or labour contractor. All work arrangements are between the parties directly.
आप इस Platform का उपयोग कर सकते हैं यदि: • आपकी आयु 18 वर्ष या उससे अधिक है • आपके पास एक valid Indian mobile number है • आप India के कानूनों का पालन करते हैं You may use this Platform if you are 18 years or older, have a valid Indian mobile number, and agree to comply with all applicable laws including Indian labour laws and regulations.
Workers who register on Labour Chowk: • अपनी सही जानकारी देने के लिए जिम्मेदार हैं (trade, skills, availability) • Aadhaar KYC verification complete करना होगा • Platform के through लिए गए सभी jobs के लिए platform payment का उपयोग करना होगा • Contractors से directly payment लेना platform terms का उल्लंघन है Workers are solely responsible for the quality of their work. Labour Chowk does not guarantee employment or minimum earnings.
Contractors agree to: • Workers को agreed daily wage समय पर pay करना • Platform के through hire किए गए workers को directly contact नहीं करना (anti-circumvention) • Accurate job descriptions post करना • Minimum wage laws का पालन करना (as per Delhi/NCR state minimum wage) Contractors are responsible for safe working conditions at all job sites.
Labour Chowk निम्नलिखित fees charge करता है: • Contractor service fee: प्रति transaction 8–12% (job type के अनुसार) • Tatkal booking surcharge: 15% (instant matching के लिए) • Sardar commission: gang bookings पर 5% additional Fees are subject to change with 30 days notice. GST applicable as per Indian tax law.
All payments must be made through the Platform. Direct cash payments that bypass the platform for platform-matched workers are prohibited and may result in account suspension. Wage disbursement to workers is processed within 24–48 hours of contractor payment confirmation. Labour Chowk is not responsible for delays caused by banking systems. Payments are processed via Razorpay. By using the Platform, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service.
The following are strictly prohibited: • Fake profiles या false information • Platform workers को directly hire करना (circumvention) • Harassment, discrimination, या abuse of any user • Child labour (workers must be 18+) • Platform credentials share करना • Automated scraping या API abuse
Labour Chowk is not liable for: • Work quality disputes between workers and contractors • On-site accidents or injuries (workers should have their own insurance) • Losses due to worker no-shows or contractor non-payment • Third-party service failures (SMS, payment gateway, etc.) Our maximum liability is limited to the fees paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
Disputes between workers and contractors should be reported to support@labourchowk.com within 7 days of the incident. Labour Chowk will mediate in good faith but is not obligated to resolve disputes. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to arbitration in Delhi under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Governing law: Laws of India.
